DISTRICT HEATING
Under the Law on Energy, the implementers of the regulated energy-relating activities of heat production, distribution and supply are obliged to provide the public service, whereby the regulation of such activities is the competence of the Energy Regulatory Commission. The implementers of the regulated energy-relating activities located on the territory of the City of Skopje are:
- DISTRIBUCIJA NA TOPLINSKA ENERGIJA DOOEL – Skopje (heat distribution);
- SNABDUVANJE ZAPAD DOOEL – Skopje (heat supply);
- SNABDUVANJE ISTOK DOOEL – Skopje (heat supply);
- SNABDUVANJE CENTAR DOOEL – Skopje (heat supply);
- SKOPJE SEVER AD – Skopje (heat production, distribution and supply); and
- AD ELEM, Energy Subsidiary (heat production, distribution and supply).
- AD TE-TO, Energy Subsidiary (heat production, distribution and supply).
The heating service is charged based on the measured quantity of delivered energy at the point of connection of the facility. The regulation and the metering of the energy delivered to each facility is done from a central dispatch system.
